Ever since the HCHOF went to dynamic content, the URLs have been good for computers and bad for humans. That’s finally changed (not quite everywhere, but I’m working on that).
Gone are the meaningless numbers (hchof/hchof.php?id=5), and in their place, much more friendly names (hchof/machines/mattel-aquarius).
I’m also making slow, but steady progress adding some larger images and yet more reviews.
I’ve finally had a chance to spend some time down in the HCHOF vaults. The result is a new look, which was much overdue, some new images (larger ones are on their way, too – 256 x 192 pixels might have been a good resolution when I started all this, but it’s a bit rubbish now) and a couple of extra reviews for the BBC Micro (from Your Computer January 1982) and the ZX Spectrum (from Your Computer June 1982).
So, the HCHOF has been in existence for something like 20 years now, so this blog is long overdue.
Somewhere to put the things that may be interesting to (some) people that don’t belong elsewhere.
Let’s see how it goes.
